With the imminent demolition of some older buildings on Å·²©ÍøÖ·â€™s campus, The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD) is presented with a unique opportunity for personnel training. Beginning on February 1, a series of emergency response exercises for the LACFD personnel will be conducted in several buildings on Å·²©ÍøÖ·â€™s campus, which will include simulated rescue operations, extinguishing simulated fires, cutting vents into roofs and deploying additional equipment and apparatus in the area. Å·²©ÍøÖ· Campus Safety will be supporting the fire personnel during the training.
